Looking through the door to the swell box. The red sided plank is one of the shutters on the swell box that has been removed to allow access to the pipes for removal and tuning. Although there is a door to the swell box on the right hand side of the organ, it is about 2 metres off the ground and no steps are available for access. |
 |
The door to the swell box is slightly ajar. In the forground is part of the lever mechanism to open the shutters on the swell box and in the distance are the great open diapasons. |
