History of the Church
Most visitors arrive at the south porch. This is one of the Medieval additions to the church, added in the early fourteenth century.
Above this porch door (unlike its opposite number on the north side) is the striking chequer-board pattern.
Either side of the porch is the Garden of Remembrance where the ashes are interred of past members of the church and of the local community.
It is through the porch that we enter the church.
