Weddings at St Mary's Church, Hemel Hempstead A member of the Hemel Hempstead Team Ministry During nearly all times of the year, the church is filled with fresh and beautifully arranged flowers. Many of us just notice them, but many hours of dedicated work go into organising and arranging these beautiful arrays. The team work regularly thoughout the year to provide spectacular displays of flowers especially for special days. The team also create flower arrangements for the many weddings that take place in the church. Some couples prefer to use outside florists to decorate the church. These displays are often left in church after the wedding so that all the congregation can share in the couples marriage celebration. The flower arrangers create all types of displays from simple baskets to exotic cascading displays. Here are a selection of photographs setting up the Easter lilies for our celebration of Easter.
