Director of Music: Simon Pusey

Simon Pusey is the Director of Music at St Mary's church. He has been an Organist and Choirmaster continuously since the age of 17, and is now the Director of Music here at St Mary’s. He conducts Epping Phoenix Choir and Hemel Hempstead Singers, accompanies for Potters Bar Choral Society, is a deputy tenor at St Paul’s and Westminster Cathedrals, and teaches both the piano and organ. He is a superb organist. He plays at all the services, weddings and funerals. He is also the choir master of the 25 strong choir. He has produced several concerts this year for the church in aid of the organ restoration appeal. He spends time training the choir for their RSCM exams, with the help of some of the adult members of the choir.
